The Grand Tourer’s tough all-weather ability belies its awesome performance, with jet like acceleration and top speeds in excess of 60 mph (subject to choice of Yamaha engine). Whilst the on-board comfort of the accommodation maybe comparable with a small modern sports cruiser, the sea-going ability and performance of the Grand Tourer leaves conventional boats in its wake. The Ribeye GT delivers a notably superior ride, greater comfort, improved sea keeping and better fuel efficiency than a similarly sized, conventional motorboat; the hull’s buoyancy being provided by the tubes which ride clear of the water until needed in turns or heavy weather.
