Beta BV3800 90hp 4 cylinder Kubota diesel installed new Sept 2008 by Irish Agents, Ryan & Roberts Marine, Askeaton, invoice available and full instruction manual. Engine has heavy duty PRM260 gearbox and 100 amp high output alternator. Very reliable and economical averaging less than 5 litres/hr fuel consumption. Total engine hours about 600. Vetus bow and stern thrusters fitted.
6/8 persons in 3 cabins. The fore cabin has a large V-berth with good storage. Aft of the fore cabin the galley is fitted to starboard with a head to port. Steps lead to a large saloon/cockpit space with double dinette to stbd and control console to port, good stowage everywhere. Steps aft lead to aft cabin with std double and a single berth, en suite head and good stowage.
Upholstery and curtains renewed by present owner.
All tanks are stainless steel, domestic water system is pressurised and heated by very well insulated s/s calorifier. Water and fuel tanks each 200 litres capacity. Holding tanks for both Jabsco toilets.
Smev 4 ring gas hob and oven, Vitrifrigo 12v fridge and full size s/s drainer and sink. Trumatic E warm air gas fired heating system. Gas cylinders in locker on aft deck suitably vented.
Single lever Morse controls at both steering positions, full set of gauges, trip switches etc. at main controls in cockpit, basic controls on flybridge with dual thruster control.
3 domestic and 1 starter 12v batteries are installed in a battery box aft of the engine. Another battery for the bow thruster is located under the stbd v-berth. A small 300w inverter provides some 220v power. Shore power is installed connected to 4 x 13amp sockets and a Sterling battery management/charger system. New Vetus wipers.
‘Novara’ is well equipped with an aft boarding platform and folding s/s steps, dodgers and a tonneau cover from the top windscreen aft for winter storage. Fenders, mooring lines and some engine spares. The present owner has spent in excess of €25k in improvements. For the past 10 years boat has been lifted and stored on the hard during the winter months.
